Privacy Statement

Thank you for trusting us with the medical information about you we need in order to make arrangements for you to be visited in person or “virtually” by someone with Mended Hearts who can come beside you and help you in this difficult time.

The Mended Hearts is a volunteer non-profit national organization which does not provide medical care and is not controlled directly or indirectly by any hospital where we visit patients.

We value your privacy and confidentiality and will endeavor to provide the medical information you provide us only to our volunteer(s) who will be coming to see you in person or virtually and to follow all laws affecting such information. Also, because we are a national organization and want to provide information to our donors and supporters about the good we are doing, we may provide information in aggregate summary statistical form which does not contain personal identifying information (it cannot be traced back to you).
